At Peace we believe God still reveals himself, makes his love for us known, and guides us in daily living through his Word (I Samuel 3:21 & Romans 10:17); for that reason, the Bible remains the authority that guides all that we do.  As we take all things captive to Christ (II Corinthians 10:5) without adding to his Word or subtracting from it (Deuteronomy 4:2, Jeremiah 23:28, Matthew 28:20), the Bible remains the foundation for everything that we preach, teach, and confess – even if some things are difficult for sinners like us to grasp or a culture like ours to understand.  God's Word is the standard, measure, and norm that guides our Sunday worship and our daily lives.

That doesn’t mean general principles aren’t interesting, profound philosophies aren’t impressive, or societal trends aren’t intriguing; they certainly are.  But, when we gather to be spiritually fed in worship or in a Bible-class, we fix our eyes on what the Author and Perfecter of faith says in the Bible (Hebrews 12:2).  At Peace we cherish, celebrate, stand on the organic, changeless truth of God’s Word as it shows the Savior and applies to the real lives of real people.

The best way to witness all that?  Come, see for yourself!  It'd be great to have you join us!
