† fuller biography below
I think this is the section of the website where I’m supposed to stress normalcy and how much my family and I (wife, Erica; daughter, Summer Joy; sons, Otto, Odie, & Oscar [not pictured]; dog, Lucky [not pictured]) enjoy most things Colorado. But instead of an onslaught of hobbies and habits, I’d rather just get to know you (and you get to know me); maybe we have tons in common, maybe the only thing we have in common is the truth that Jesus died to forgive us and give us heaven – but that’s not a bad starting point. Either way, I’d love the chance to talk with you over something brewed locally. Feel free to contact me to set something up (firstname.lastname@example.org; call 303.444.7434, or text/call 720.315.0910).
For those to whom background, experience and education matter much, I’ll summarize mine this way: this sinner-saint was blessed to bounce around our fair country (MI 2x, WI 2x, MN 2x, along with UT, AZ & now CO). Back in the 1900s, I graduated high school from Michigan Lutheran Seminary, our Synod's Christian high school in Saginaw, Michigan (www.mlsem.org). In 2003, I completed my undergrad work at Martin Luther College, our Synod's working-training college in New Ulm, MN (www.mlc-wels.edu); and my graduate studies were at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, our Seminary in Thiensville, Wisconsin (www.wls.wels.net). After graduation in 2008, I taught courses in Biblical History & Literature at Martin Luther College and, then, in 2010, I got to come to Colorado to teach courses in Old Testament and Christian Doctrine at Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School (www.rmlhs.org) and to be the pastor here at Peace in Boulder – which is now my sole, occupational focus. Like I said prior . . . blessed.
