This is another somewhat difficult reading. But remember what we’re trying to accomplish. We’re getting a feel for the whole story of the Bible. We read about the Promised Land, then how they lost it, and how God was with them even in captivity. Today we see that God kept his promise and a remnant of people returned to the Promised Land. This is the account of the rebuilding that took place after returning from captivity.
