The joy of the gospel is simply radiant. To stop and ponder that, to hearts like ours, the message of redemption and reconciliation, the joy of forgiveness and alliance in Christ is proclaimed. Simply stunning! And, of course, we’d recognize all those facets where “God for us” (God acting in our interested and for our benefit, from his grace and to his glory) is evident and obvious.
But that news and reality isn’t meant only to sit in our hearts . . . it’s also meant to dwell in our homes. And, what a gorgeous thing it is, to see one another as, to cherish our families as, to celebrate our relationships as gifts of God’s grace he gives for our good and to his glory. And what a stunning opportunity it is to use those relationships to glorify him and edify one another.
